Reach the Beach is in its 18th year as one of Oregon's most popular cycling events. Proceeds from your entry fee and fundraising support the American Lung Association of Oregon's mission to prevent and cure lung disease and promote lung health
Reach the Beach is widely acknowledged as the official start of the Oregon cycling season. Five different route options make sure that the event is perfect for everyone. Characterized by Oregon's stunningly varied landscape, the rides proceed from rolling wine country fields, through tiny towns, to the pounding surf and soaring dunes of Cape Kiwanda.
Register online through this website or down load a PDF of the registration form to mail in (mail-in registration ends on April 30, 2008). And remember, if you or someone you know isn't too sure about all that bike riding, you can join us through Dream of the Beach, an opportunity to fundraise and support the ride without ever hopping on a bike. If this sounds like the best option for you or someone you know, choose the 'Dreamer' option in registration.

whew, that was fun. I did the 55 mile ride from Amity and had a blast.
I have never seen such gorgeous weather at the coast!!!
Yep. It was a great ride. The heat was draining, but it was nice to get to the beach for once and not mind spending hours waiting for arrivals and departures. Was a great day to just kick back and enjoy.
