So there's a guy on craigslist selling a bike I want. I don't know him from adam and would rather not paypal a stranger a large chunk of cash.

What are my options for getting the bike?

I posted to Jobs looking for a MeFite that might be interested but since that's coming up blank... any other suggestions people might have?

For instance, are there any bike stores or shippers in Berkeley that he could take the bike to that would ship it to me for a fee? I'd of course like it boxed up in a proper bike box.

Anyone got any creative solutions?
