Race - TriathlonThe first annual KeepOnTreking triathlon.
Not a very good time. I was tired and hadn't run in almost a week. Legs didn't cramp but they were definately dead after the first mile.
Fortunately the clouds rolled in and kept it cool or else it could have been much worse. Took a quick water break at each mile. My mile splits were something like 7:05, 8:00 and 9:00 which included water break time.
Oveall a nice workout! Gonna have to do this on a more regular basis.

The first annual KeepOnTreking triathlon...
Went from CharVal HS to Millers Run to Rt 50 down to the Montour trailhead and turned around retracing that same route.
Although windy on the way out, I was feeling pretty good...flew past several bikers on the way out. Return time could have been better but traffic was bad.
T2 was 4:12 since I parked fairly close to the track.

Race - TriathlonThe first annual KeepOnTreking triathlon. Ok, I was too busy (or is that too cheap) to drive out to Akron for the Portage Lakes Tri so I did my own personal tri. Kind of between a Sprint and an Olympic distance.
Started off with an Olympic distance swim at LA Fitness. Average time for me but then I did workout yesterday (swimming and lifting) on top of some grueling yard work.
So I'm ok with this time.
T1 time was 17:40 since I had to get out of the pool, change in the locker room, get in my car and drive a couple of miles to the high school, derack my bike and get the remaining bike gear on.

had some banking to do at south hills village so why drive? lot's of little hills. took rt 50 to bridgeville via pressley then cut over mclaughlin run past my old high school crossing over to brookville and up ft couch. reversed directions home except i cut over to bridgeville interchange rather than fight pressley again with the pending darkness.
