Got up and met friends downtown at 6:23:58 as pre-arranged. It was dark and rainy but it was Christmas Morning! Nine people and five dogs went for a couple mile jog from one side of town to the other. Bells on our toes and a couple feeble attempts to sing while we ran...secretly hoping to awaken any children that hadn't already realized Christmas morning had come. We topped the run off by a small, legal infraction that must remain quiet - but we were led by Jon and Dave, two of the pastors in our running friendship. Along w/ them were Zach (home from the Academy), Lynn (wife), Jacque, Dianna, Megan, Stephan, and me. I don't know the names of all the dogs. It is a new Christmas memory. A great way to celebrate life more abundantly - isn't that the point (or at least part of it)?

Cool. Glad you had a great day. Looks like a tradition I'll need to join or create up here in North Creswell!

I got the bug going around - fever, sniffles, cough, etc., and used as an excuse to lay off a couple of days. Will try to run tomorrow if there's not too much cough or fever.

Lunch Thursday? Pump, say 1300 hrs?

Perfect time for lunch - see you there! Sorry about the virus thing - hope it wasn't the hot chocolate! I think you are right about it being a good excuse to cut back for a day or two. You had a good week last week, this one should be a bit relaxed anyway. Thanks for the note.
