Warm-up before weight class. Full moon made it a nice run out in the country. It must be skunk day or something. 2:30 this morning I let me dog outside and he immediately ran back in. Moments later the overwhelming, eye-burning scent wafted like a tidal wave through my bedroom window. Fortunately (well "more" fortunately) it was was the outdoor dog that got sprayed - not my cocker. Then during my run I saw THREE skunks running, walking, standing on the side of the road - spaced about a mile apart. In my whole life I've only seen four live skunks - weird to see three in one morning and then have an additional one give me such a great treat while I tried to sleep (with tears in my eyes).
