RED MOON RISING RUN. Got up at 3:15 so that I couild run during the full eclipse of the moon. Pretty cool and pretty silly. Running through the forest roads and then down in the country field roads with the moon getting smudged with reddish-brown mud (or so it seemed) and then a few miles later a bright shining spot shown on the upper left hand corner of its surface. That transpired into a "dawn of creation" effect as the moon then appeared to be transformed with light. All the while the stars were magnificent. Lots of critters in the bushes but none ate me so I guess they were friendlies.

Still pretty cool. Not every day there's an eclipse we can see, now is it?
