My high school-age cousin from Bend needed a cross-country training run so she forced me to get off my dead rear and join her. Gratefully, I did and she was kind - we ran real slow. Funny how much more you see when you're running at a pace where you can actually breath and talk at the same time.

Legs very tight and sore today. Almost embarrassing to be so sore - what have I been doing the past year? Haven't I done any hill work at all? Ugh.
