HILLS. Ran w/ Jon today - he so totally beat me today. I was tired and sore and got more tired and sore as we went. He just got faster and stronger. (his last 3 miles were under 7:30 and mine were right at 8:05.)
I'm going to have to throw away this new pair of shoes I think - three runs w/ them and all three have been painful. May not be the shoes but the coincidence is pretty strong evidence of a problem.
Will need rest and massage to be in any shape for a marathon on Sunday.
