round trip commute today, since i forgot to load this morning's ride in separately.

nice morning ride -- light fleece, khakis, barely-needed skullcap and full-fingered gloves -- in a word, autumn, instead of this quasi-winter crap we've been having.

cut through downtown to a meeting up on the duquesne campus.

crappy evening ride -- shell, khakis, half gloves, no skullcap, toesies -- because it was raining at a pretty healthy clip. the khakis really were an awful miscalculation.

but at least it gave me an excuse to wipe down susan a bit. she needed it.

it's really sad that at 40+ miles, this is my longest mileage week in the last TEN weeks.
