in the pouring rain, downtown to highland park for trick or treating at drew's. broke out the rain pants for the first time since the spring, and thankfully they still work. forgot the toe covers, though, and had to work out weird permutations of dry clothing from my bag to hang out on the porch all evening.

home, everything still was wet, but the rain had stopped and i was full of whiskey.
