Same as Tuesday, but I omitted one full Schenley lap from that itinerary. Just before I hit the park it started to drizzle, and by the time I reached the top for the first time it was pretty much pouring. On the remote leftward descent, before it began down hard, a kid in a Camry showing off to his friend what a zany cat he was nearly killed me, swinging all the way over to my side to take the inside track on a curve. Watching him apex about 30 feet in front of me pretty much made my heart stop; thank goodness I was just sort of limping along (not an aggressive ride home by any stretch of the imagination, especially once I was good and wet). At least there was no lightning.
