So very tired now. Still aching from Monday. Why is it, that I miss just one week's riding and I feel like I'm back to square one? I thought I was just starting to get the hang of this cycling to work lark, and suddenly it's agony again. Not fair.

Lights were against me today. And I was cycling in at a time when the roads were awash with other cyclists. Not so much fun, but I got it done.

Got caught by every red light going on the first bit of this ride. That kind of sapped my energy and my will. Still, this ride took me up to over 400 miles, which is kind of impressive in its own little way.

After a week off, and a bad start to the day, I very nearly didn't bother this morning. Kind of wish I hadn't as well. Rubbish time and I felt knackered. Not really feeling any benefit - other than financial - to cycling at the moment.

Did the last bit of this ride - from about Blackhorse Road tube on - blind as there was so much sweat in my eyes. That made it interesting.

There was also a great little gridlock in Stamford Hill which I just sailed right through. Sometimes I love being on a bike.
