Motivational problems aside (stay in the corner, no one wants to speak to you), today was a goodish day. The sun was shining, gobs of people gleaming like super white seals on Cedar Hill, puppies and pooches out for a romp.
And it was hot to run. A little too hot, but tolerable. I tackled Harlem Hill with gusto, and by the top I realised just when too much gusto hits you in the gutso. Nevertheless, I forged on like a pioneer.
Awful time, awful pain in my foot arch, awful thirst, and awful red face when I got home. Summer's coming, whee!
Not working has its benefits in weather like this. I ran at 1.30 in the afternoon. What a life.
