Run as One TGL Classic
Well, no mishaps in this one. No crazy cones to the head. Whee!

One thing I noticed again this week though. The effect of being in that third mile and having a child blow by in a puff of 10 year old effortlessness can still be described as 'demoralizing' to the running spirit. It happened last week and it happened this week.

I have almost succeeded in convincing myself that these kids are simply street urchins, so excited by the throng of people going by that they cannot resist jumping in. Like dogs like to leap joyously into a flowing river, reckless and free.

As for the race element, no great success, time wise. But I felt good for the whole race. Not bad, considering I was asleep for the start of it. We've jumped back to summer start times. No more lazy 10am starts.

I'm gonna do something I don't usually do. I'm gonna add my chip stats.
