Meant to post about this yesterday, but time got away from me.

I felt so unstoppable on this run, it was weird. Well, until the last mile. But then I thought, hey, it's just a 5 mile, gut it out. And it was fine. The Nike+ effed it right up, but who cares.

First two miles, it was so crowded, I couldn't help but run at an even pace. The next two miles were like glory miles, I just felt so good. It was hot as hell, but at the 2 mile and 4 mile mark, they had dudes with the fire hose and that was great.

Weirdly enough, I didn't even stop at the first water station. Didn't feel like it. Just motored along. I've been taking it easy lately, just because I have a date in my mind when marathon training starts...and that's around July 5th. So I want to enjoy just futzing about. I'm looking at moving to Brooklyn, and planning it around running over the Brooklyn bridge to work.

Good run. I can't say more than that. If they were all like that, things would be much easer. :)
