First run ever in Prospect Park in Brooklyn. Thought I'd walk up there and give it a whirl, but I didn't actually look at how far away it was. Mile and a half.
Anyway, I'd read a bit about the park run before I went and it only mentioned one hill. I run all the way around thinking "where the eff is this damn hill?" Right at the end, there was a long rise. The kind of rise that's an insult to actual hills to label a hill. I was thinking it was going to be like the one in Central Park in Harlem.
I ended up running all the way home too. Not a bad run and the longest one I'd done since the marathon. That's kinda bad, but good that it didn't kill me at all.
