Today was the ALC Thank You Ride (and BBQ) and this started at Chrissy Field. After a very strange week of weather (in Hollister-86 Wed, 76 Thu, not even that Fri) I was concerned that it would be foggy, cold and not so nice for both the ride and the post ride BBQ. How wrong, and how strange, considering the week.
As I drove to the City, it was clear the entire way. It was 47 degrees in Hollister when I left at 6:10, but it was almost 60 when I got to Chrissy Field at 8:15, clear gorgeous and no wind.
Rico, Bart and a few others from the club showed, many are away for the weekend, but the three of us rode together and enjoyed the ride and the BBQ.
Very strange MotionBased.com upload today, from 1852 feet of climbing to nearly 6,000? Have no idea why it went so wacko, but I used the download stats instead of the MB.com data to log here.
