200 warm down
As I was writing down my workout for the day, Reed texted me with this workout: start a set of 100s on 1:40, and then drop a second for each; see how far you can get. The first 20 were no problem, held 1:15s no problem. Once I hit the 1:20, it got harder, and the upper limit came at about the 1:12 mark. With three more to go, I had to push it. I made them, but then I quit. Exhausted. Fun workout. I might start at 1:30 next time and work down. Or use the front end for a warmup. Kept my mind busy trying to calculate my start times. But that kept it fast.

Glad to see that you tried it. I can't wait to give it a go. I am up in VT with my family and the pool that I am swimming at is meters so I'll wait until I get back to FL to give it a shot. Plus, I need to get some good swims under my belt before I give this a go...man, I'm a wuss right now. Anyway, I am pretty proud of this idea and I think that it can be used like a T3000. Another idea, which I think I mentioned before, is 100s for 30 min. picking a time where you get 3-4 seconds rest. Gets you into a good rhythm swim, but it gets really hard. Talk soon?
