Bike from work to Como Zoo to meet the family. I forgot to stop the timer, but it was about 30 minutes when I looked at my watch as I approached the Zoo.

Went up St Clair Ave hill for the first time, it was tough but not as bad as I feared. The next day my legs are still a bit tired, or maybe that's from walking around the zoo for 1.5 hours with the family.
My friend Bill rode with me, then we split at Como and he headed home. Unfortunately a car turned in front of him on Dale near Cty Rd B and he was unable to stop. Several teeth were chipped but he reported he was "fine" despite bumps and bruises. Today I called him and he was at the dentist: besides other restorative work he's going to need two root canals!
Still, he wore a helmet so he is alive.
