Light run w/the kids biking. The run ended up being a series of small runs with minor breaks to show the youngest the rules of the road. Ended with a nice sprint trying to catch him :)

A light hill set. Essentially straight up, then back down.

One of the most enjoyable races in Eugene. A short cross country run on some of Pre's trail that winds through meadows, woods along a canal and around a couple of ponds. Definitely a favorite.

I kept my pace steady at the beginning which helped me stay fairly strong through the race. Overall it felt great, if a little bit slow.

I forgot how much the "steep hill" crushes your run. It is only 20-25 feet of vertical (you need hands for balance and climb up/over roots) but it really kicks your arse at the top.

Recovery run with chef. Excellent all terrain route with some serious hills. Poison oak was everywhere but thus far Technu seems to have done the job. Although the water was down from last time, the recent rains ensured that the bog lives on. We traversed the initial bogs with no problem, but there was no avoiding the bog on the backside.

Good times!
