Took yesterday off. Sometimes I have days where running is the last thing I want to do and yesterday was one of those days. Today's run was a quick run (for a morning run) in the fog.

A coldish (60s) rainy windy day made for a lonely day on the trail. Felt good though.

A 20+ mph headwind on the way out reminded me that the coming Winter weather won't always be great and that I should enjoy the heat while it is here. Heading back was nice.

Ran the first five miles at a fast clip (7:20/miles) then ran a little with Kristen as she was on the trail. Felt good after taking Sunday and Monday off.

Glad I was able to get through this run without my leg cramping up again. Felt a little tightness around mile 5, and again at the 14 mile mark, but that was it. I stopped at a Walgreens for some Gatorade late in my run. The clerk didn't seem pleased that I was dripping sweat in her store. :)
